I've noticed it's missing in 2016, rendering my file useless. In Microsoft Office 2007 you have the choice of which ActiveX control to use but in Microsoft Office 2010 you must use the MonthView control.
Hope the above information can be helpful. MonthView control missing in Office 2016 I have some excel files built in 2013 that relay heavily on the MonthView control (the date picker). This new ActiveX control is similar in function to the Calendar Control and has the advantage that it is installed with all versions of Microsoft Office. I tested in my current Excel 2013 (32-bit) and Windows 10 (64-bit) by following the detailed instructions in the article below and the control can be registered properly:
My company is starting to push out Windows 10 and Office 2016 64 bit to out machines and running into this issue. And I have used the Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 (SP6). If you are running 32-bit version of Excel, generally we could take the steps you have mentioned in your thread to register the calendar control in your system. I need to use the MonthView control on a machine that. It does not use the monthview control, only a standard userform with standard controls.
A possible option is my free Get Your Own Date excel add-in for xl97 thru xl2010 only.
